When the McFadden family expanded from four to seven, their existing home could no longer cope with the pressures of daily life—it was literally bursting at the seams. This was not a typical household. Oversized vehicles required generous garage space, storage for seven bicycles was a must, bathrooms needed to handle multiple people at once, and a kitchen island capable of accommodating the entire family became essential.

This project became an exploration of family home design, where practicality, comfort, and style had to work hand in hand. The design process was a true conversation—an ongoing exchange of ideas that shaped the home into what it is today.

The outcome is a large family home featuring six bedrooms and multiple living zones, thoughtfully arranged around a central courtyard. This courtyard not only draws natural light and breezes deep into the interiors but also provides a secluded retreat—a private oasis within a suburban setting.
